Somehow I don't have scan disk on my computer anymore. How can I get it again?
Some how scan disk got deleted from my computer. How can I get it again without losing everything on my computer?

Welcome to the forums Scox45!
You should be able to find the program within your OS CD. Go ahead and put in yor OS CD, and go into START --> FIND and then point it to your CD-ROM drive and search for "Scan Disk" . I believe you will find the executable file, go ahead and copy that file into "C:/Windows" directory. If that doesn't solve your problem, please go ahead and go into microsoft.com and search for scan disk in their downloads section. Also, I believe you can regain SCAN DISK fom Add/Remove programs, in Windows Setup. I am not too sure, because it does not show up in System Tools on my friend's computer. |

if you run win 2k or xp scandisk is now chkdisk

My Computer>Right-Click on a Drive>Properties>Tools>Error Checking>Check Now.
Check Disk will run. HTH |
