XP restarts continuously
Ok, I was trying to update windows XP home with the service pack on microsoft.com. Halfway through the actually installation (not download) windows froze and didnt move for almost an hour. So at that time I believed it to be frozen for good and I shutdown. When it restarted, everything looked normal till after the XP Home logo... then it went into a black screen and restarted. It does this continuously and I am not able to load windows... can anyone help?

Boot the PC and hit F8 right after the bios POST and then use the "Last known good configuration".
