xp download error
i have tried several times to download service pack 1 for xp,i was using microrsoft update and the express download.each time sometime in the download i get the message error-setup could not vetify the integrity of the file update inf. make sure the cryptographic service is running on this machine.i looked it up in help but it didn't explain how to determine if it was ;on this machine,can someone enlighten me please. my computer is an amd 1.4tb,windows xp pro,256 ddr memory.by the way when the error comes on the download quits and says error could not complete download,or words to that effect.

Try using this:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en It will let you download the entire update to your computer and then launch setup from there. |
