98se Taskbar
All of a sudden I cannot drag shortcuts to the taskbar. I can drag them to the quicklaunch taskbar but not to the regular taskbar. Does anybody have any ideas?

I believe you need to create a toolbar to hold the shortcut first. Right-click the taskbar, the top option in the pop-up menu should be "Toolbars", and the bottom option in the menu expanding to one side should say "New Toolbar". Once you've created a toolbar, you can drag shortcuts to it. The taskbar doesn't usually hold shortcuts (except those inside of toolbars): it usually acts like a placeholder - where programs place their titles while they're minimized.
Best of luck & Happy Holidays . . . Gary |
