Networking....Need Help
Hello,
I have 3 computers are home that are sharing my internet (DSL) connection via a router. 2 out of the 3 are W2K and third one is W98SE. My printer is connected to my primary desktop. I want to: 1) Share Printer from all PCs 2) Be able to exchange files from all PCs Can someone send me a link to a step by step guide TIA |

Just go into the properties of your network and Add the network service Microsoft File & Printer Sharing (something like that, my windows isnt in english).
Then, go to the properties of each drive you want to share and give them names for the network... For exemple, if you have a computer named Angry and the other Chewbacca, the way to access the other's computer drives will be : \\Angry\\networkdrivenamehere\folder\..... hope that helps |
