Changing Volume label on 2nd HD

Is there a way in Windows 98 to change the volume label on newly installed 2nd hard drive?

Hi there cv6vb10 and welcome to the PC Mech forums!

Yes, there is. Just open Windows Explorer and right click on the drive's icon. You will see a "Rename" option. Pulse it and type whatever name you like.

Hmm. When I right click on the drives icon, it doesn't give me the option to rename. Currently its showing as Disk2part01 (D. Any other suggestions?

Thanks again!

Right click > Properties > Rename from there.
