Odd Problems
Today I decided to install Medal of Honor: Allied Assault again. When I put the cd in I noticed that in the autoplay menu Play and Unistall are available, which should only be there when it is installed but I recall uninstalling it. So I chose Install and get the menu that says Modify, Repair, and Remove. First I choose Uninstall and it says it uninstalled, but when I try to install again I get the Modify, Repair, and Remove menu again. Same thing happens when I choose repair. Then I choose Modify this time and check all the things to be installed, when it begins to install it installs in the C:\Windows directory. Now when I go to the windows folder, it gives me a music thing on the left side that says play all and such, so I can't hide the windows items like I used to. So I have two problems, how do I install MOH and how do I get the hide windows folder items option on the left pane?

Uninstall it, the go into the programs on C and delete the EA Games folder. Next get RegCleaner from www.jv16.org and run it.
WHen you start RegCleaner on the first page delete any reference to MOHAA or EA Games. Next on the memu bar at the top, go to tools>registry cleanup. do them all. The you can select all or page through looking for MOHAA/EA Games and then delete them. This is just garbage so I usually delete all. What usually brings this on is the left over folder, this also happen with Norton AV when you uninstall it to upgrade. So remember this when you upgrade your AV program again. |

it actually doesnt make a EA Games folder, it installed a "main" folder and maybe a few other ones, I just caught the main one as it was installing.

OK, I fixed it. Using RegCleaner I took out the entry for MOH under the Uninstall Menu tab. Thanks for the help
