Appreciate some assistance.
Running Windows 95 A on an old ThinkPad 360CE laptop with a compressed drive. Trying to help a friend who has Microsoft Office 97, Professional Edition installed. The PC shows MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Photo Editor in the Start>Programs area. In Contol Panel>Add/Remove Programs, any attempt to uninstall MS Office 97 or any part thereof is met with the following: "Setup cannot find the files on D:\ from which you originally installed the product." The laptop does not have a CD-ROM drive, it is not even an option for this old a model. Have no idea of where drive D:\ is coming from. The PC is a hand-me-down, and the owner has no idea of how anything was installed. Is there a way to uninstall MS Photo Editor without the CD for Microsoft Office 97? Trying to get rid of some programs that are never used to thin out the hard drive. It only has 15.4MB of free space. |
