virus

Have found a virus, w32Opaserv(win.ini) on a new computer. Using Norton 2002 it finds it but can not quarantine it nor delete the files that are in trouble. The report states that it a compressed file in the win.ini in \windows\sysbckup\rboo3.cab. Using the explorer I can not even find that file so I could possibly remove in that manner. Any ideas? I am running w98se
