Telnet

Is there any way for me to replace Windows 2000 telnet with an old 98SE version?

I hate this command line version and prefered friendly version

Any ideas?

You could try the Hyperterminal PE from http://www.hilgraeve.com/htpe/index.html

Personally I find the telnet client for Win98 really awful, especially the inability to scroll back; there are perhaps settings on the Win2k version that you could use to make it friendlier.

fatboyjim : I predominantly use the CLI-telnet for such purposes and I really like it. Personally if you had to go out and pay for a telnet client, I'd recommend SecureCRT or CRT.

Cheers
