1. Create a picture in your favorite design program and animate it etc. and save it to a known location, for example: C:\Sig\sig.gif
2. Then create a small HTML file in the same directory (C:\sig) that should contain appropriate IMG tags: something like Code:
<HTML> <IMG SRC="C:\Sig\sig.gif" ALT="Garou Inc."> Some text to finish off your sig. </HTML> 3) Open OE go to TOOLS > OPTIONS > Signature tab > Click the NEW button > then select the File option click browse, go to your C:\Sig directory, then select sig.html (you will have to change the file types from text files to HTML files or all files to see your file there. 4) If you need set the check mark to add your signature to all mails. Having said that there is also the matter of netiquette that is often forgotten because of crapware like OE and the like. An email is designed for speed and for information (not even for exchanging files, as is commonly mistakenly used for). Of course this might be a soapbox kinda comment, but I personally cant stand junk included with emails. And this brings about the question of where does it stop? We already have people attaching vbs code to emails and we know the end result of it. To top it off, most email clients will store these pix on recepient's hard drives as inline attachments. Well I've said my piece in the fine print .. ![]() Cheers |
