compaq and win 98 problems
ok... the background info... it's a compaq presario 4712... had win 95 but we bought a color printer for it and wouldn't run on win 95... so i did a reformat and installed 98... no problems so far... install printer that works just fine.
but can't find the pci/isa bus... so the internet doesn't work at all... how can i get it to recognize the bus... i have both an ISA and PCI modem to work with it... thanks... jon |

can you reinstall win95 from your compaq cd then do an upgrade to win98 ?

i don't have an upgrade cd and the full install cd i have doesn't let me do the upgrade. don't know where to get an upgrade cd either!

check the compaq website for drivers (win98) for your machine
