computer freezes and posts an error concerning some "minidump".
my computer freezes when running the computer game "the sims" (yeah i know, "what a dweeb game") and posts an error citing some sort of file called a minidump. any ideas?

can you tell us the file name and some info on your hardwair and softwair ie cpu mem and agp card and windows nt 2000 or xp home or pro

The error in itself has nothing to do with the file 'minidump'. When your system crashes, Windows generates a log of what could have gone wrong in a file. To attempt to correctly diagnose the error you need to have the exact error code.
