Hello,
I built a Win 2000 computer for someone that lives on the other side of the country and when they went to fire it up, a insert system disk error comes up. I shutdown and restarted the computer 5 times before I sent it off so I cant figure out what is wrong. The people I sent it to no nothing about computers so there is no telling what they did when they got it but could this be the cause of something they connected to it upon startup? Any help would be appreciated. Bigron |

Does the PC have a floppy drive ? If so, then maybe the PC has a disk in the drive and the boot order is set to A: first instead of CDROM first.
In this case a non-bootable floppy in the drive will cause that error. Go figure. RJ
