merry christmas everyone
problem with media player 7.0 os 2000pro it will load to the point of starting to play video then modem will disconnect i will the get a message video cannot play till connection is established i can reconnet and iget the same result another disconnect i believe i read somewhere this is a problem in win 2000 but have been unable to find solution thanks |

finally got it fixed by changing bandwidth dword values in registry.

While doing a search for reasons why my Media Player 7.1 was dropping its connection, I found this thread.
Question is, which would be the better(safer/easier) fix? Would it be better to rid MP 7.1 and then dload 6.4 as stated as 'method one', or? Or ask "abogiant" how could I "change bandwidth dword values in registry? I run 98se by the by. TIA jef
