Bios!!

Hey my problem I just built my computer and I did configure everything in my bios and saved it and when I go to put in my windows xp cd it says boot disk failure-Insert disk and press enter?? what can be wrong?? Also in the boot page of my bios there is no option where I can set my boot device to cd-rom?? what can I do?? HELP!!!

Check your motherboard manual - seems like you have a new computer, there is got to be a section for boot device order.

I found the boot sequence and i put my NEC cd-rw as first boot device and I saved it and as i went rdy to put my windows xp inside it says boot disk failure-insert boot disk and press enter?

you nead to put the windows cd in the drive befor you boot the comp and you may get a prompt to press any key to boot from cd during the post
