2000 Server and RAID 5
I'm going to be replacing the drives on the server with hardware RAID 5. The file server full backups tell me that the RAID files are not backed up as they are in use.
When i run a restore will there be any problems if these files are not backed up? Thanks from a RAID novice. |

if by raid files you mean drivers then no prob but if its docs or programs being used by some one during back up you nead to copy to your back up device before you replace the drives all so make shour you have the raid drivers ready to load when you replace the drives
