Win 2K install problem
I need some help! I've just built a new computer and i'm trying to install windows 2000 on to it. It'll boot up fine load some stuff then it'll say "now starting windows 2000" then just lock up and I dunno whats wrong with it. Anyone got any ideas?
the computers specs: CPU: Athlon XP 1900 Motherbord: Asus A7V333 Graphics card: AOpen Geforce 4 TI4200 |

Download a RAM tester from http://www.docmemory.com/
test the RAM to see if it's good..you can alo try putting in a different stick of RAM and see if your problem still occurs. What is the brand and Wattage of the power supply? |

Thanks I'll go cheak the ram.
my power supply is 340W and it says Chieftech on the sida although oveclockers.co.uk say it's a Antec PSU. |
