Unlocking Taskbar

Hi

i have replaced my harddrive and reloaded WinXP. I like to have my icons (Word, Excel etc) on my taskbar next to the start button. For some reason on unlocking the taskbar i am unable to move the slider to put my icons in. It worked fine on the other harddrive. any ideas??

Yeah, right click on the taskbar, go to toolbars>quick launch. That will allow you to add shortcuts to your toolbar. Then just drag and drop shortcuts.
