win me thumbnails
Hello.....
Has anyone ever used this registry fix for thumbnail view in Win Me? It's called "FixThumbs.reg." I installed Photosuite III for use with our new digital camera now we lost our "image preview" thumbnail view in Win Me. I un-installed Photosuite, however, it didn't fix problem. I am really hesitant with messing with the registry. please advise, thanks, God Bless, and Happy New Year!!! Robert |

Just make a backup first.
Open regedit, select file, export, and then put a tick mark in "All". Save it somewhere as "backup". If you screw up, just double click backup.reg file. |

reboot, thanks for your reply.
That file I mentioned is called "jpgfix.reg" not Fixthumbs.reg. There's also a "jpegfix.reg" heard of it? What do you mean when you say put a "tick" mark in all? thanks, God Bless, Robert |

You'll see the option when you go to export the reg.

Did you try going to Control Panel, Folder Options then file types to change the program used to open JPEG’s?
