Hi Liquid-X,
I usually get that error with bad RAM. Have you installed new RAM as well? |

RAM has "usually" caused that problem for me, however you might goi to microsoft.com and in the window on the left for search type SUWIN and/or setupx.dll. A host of possibles comes up.

Hi Liquid-X,
Is your computer fully assembled? Try stripping it down to just the bare necessities (CPU, heatsink, motherboard, 1 stick of RAM, video card, floppy, hard drive and CD-ROM) and then try to install Win98SE again. If you're booting directly to the Win98SE CD-ROM for the installation, leave the floppy drive out. Cricket
