i have a 10GB 7200rpm HD and i already have a 40GB 7200 rpm HD. i am going to install windows xp pro and need to know if i should install windows on the 10GB HD and then use the 40GB HD for all my programs and data or the other way around? thanks.

Hi crowdaddy00,
Will you be storing other files than the programs (MP3s, videos, etc.)? If so, I would install WinXP and programs on the 10GB drive and use the 40GB for data file storage. Otherwise, just put everything on the 40GB and use the 10GB for extra overflow. Hope that helps. |

I would use the 10GB as the system drive too - and the 40g as the data drive.
