ghitch75, did your sister's computer have Microsoft Word on it before you formatted? I've noticed that if I uninstall Word, I lose the spellchecker in Outlook Express. Evidently (at least on my system) Outlook Express uses the Microsoft Word spellchecker. I have not figured that one out yet but it has happened three times.

I've run it that myself. If you don't have Word installed, you can download CompuBridge's spell checker, but it's about $15. You can find it Here.

It works, but for not being free, it's not as good as I expected. Heck, I have a free Notepad replacement that has a better spell checker, but I hate all that cut-n-paste BS. At least with this one, it's integrated...

HTH

Word or something like the above, has to be installed for the spell checker to work. I don't think Word is downloadable....
