can you set all folders to do a image preview(jpg...)? or do you have to set the folders one at a time under "view" customize this folder?

Briab, I'm not sure but you might try to go to tools>folder options>view>Like current folder give it a try!

thats what i thought

yea that seems like it should do the job huh.
but it does not, unless i am missing something.
if i make 3 new folders. place some pic's in each(jpg,bmp...) then set the first folder to use the image preview (view-customize this folder...),then go to tools-folder options-view....like current...
the other foolders still are not using the image preview when opened unless i go through the process of view-customize this folder....
ive tried it with the folders in each other and outside of each other.
i thought there might be another place to set folder options?
its not that big of a deal, maybe its not even supposed to work that way. i believe in 98 you could set it up that way.
thanks for ur time
