I installed an extra 128 meg.s of pc100 sdram on my computer and even though my computer recognizes it when I look at my system resources the numbers are the same as before installing the new memory . HELP !

Hi fillo, welcome to the PC Mech forums!
I believe this is a bug in Win9x (that it won't count added memory), but it's been a while since I've used it so I'm not completely sure. |

You can check how much memory is Win98 recognizing by pressing Winkey+Break. The System Properties will appear and you can see there how much memory is Win98 recognizing.

Thanks Cricket , I am running windows M E , I read , I usee the light and I guess the only solution is to upgrade my O.S. to XP .
