Pop-up window in XP
Description:
When you place your cursor over an icon, whether it be a folder or an executable there is a tanish window that pops up by my cursor on all my PC's that use XP. It says exactly what the item is. For instance if the folder the mouse cursor is on is named "New Folder" then this pop-up window will say New Folder. I personally find this window annoying and not needed. But I can not seem to find how to get rid of it. Does anybody know how? |

I also find this annoying.
open explorer\tools\folder options\view. clear the box under "show popup description for folder and desktop items" |
