startup programs
hi:
win98se: under system config utility: startup: several program are loading. scan registry load power profile anyone knows what these do and do they have to startup on their own. thanks |

Hi glenrose,
You should leave the ScanRegistry and SystemTray entries enabled in msconfig/Startup. The Load Power Profile is really only for laptops power saving features and if your computer is a desktop you can disable the 2 entries (there are usually 2 Load Power Profile entries listed). Cricket
