Question XP Home and CD-RW Install

Friend bought a custom built pc with WinXP Home and had me set it up and activate XP.
She has now bought a new Lite-on cd-rw with Nero s/w and is hinting for me to do the installation.
Will XP have to be reactivated?
Are there any problems with Nero and XP and if so, are there any patches required? Same question for Mt. Ranier support.
I don't know how the builder set up the Ide connections as yet, but I was planning on having both optical drives on Ide 2 and the burner as master.
Any input before I drive 80 miles will be appreciated.
Carl

you should have no promblems

I have my slave set up as slave but i think either way will be fine if not you can always change it to master. I have no clue what the MT rainer thing is but i have burned about 20 discs with nero and my new Lite-on...

it should be cake

Zaney123,
Thanks for the quick reply. Ilike the answer so looks like a piece of cake.

Mt. Ranier I don't completely understand either but gives you the ability to keep burning additional files to a disk at different times.
I think!!
