XP Home
I wish to buy XP OEM.
newegg demands you buy hardware with it so where can I buy Xp Home OEM? I have a HD with information on it. can XP from CD Load up the OS without touching the information?

The only legal way of buying Windows XP OEM version is to buy some hardware along with it.

just this last sunday I bought A MB a CPU and RAM from NEwegg Could I buy a OEM version from Newegg right now?

You can do an upgrade to Xp home and not disturb the existing data on your hard drive, but it is recommended that you back up before doing so.
Most experts recommend a clean install of most new OS's as opposed to upgrades. |

Call them up and tell them you forgot to order the OS with your mobo and see what they say. I know at Mwave, the term "hardware" is loosly construed, ie, a mouse qualifies. |
