repartioning with Win XP

I completed a fresh install of Windows XP (used XP as the start up disk). I partioned the hardrive and reformatted. I'd like to change my partitions (I know it will erase all data) but can't figure out how to do it. Using XP as the startup doesn't provide an option to do this (it shows the partitions but will not allow me to change them)- there doesn't seem to be an Fdisk option (even with the dos like prompt). Anyone know how to do this?.

Yes .. during setup .. read the screen .. to del a partition .. select any partition and press D (followed by L for system partitions).

Thanks, must be something else because when I press D nothing happens- no messages (like the one I received the first time I partitioned the drive). I'll probably try to do it by using another HD.
