Need cordbg.exe advice

Ok, my roomie was running PC Pitstop's CPU load tester (which he's done plenty of times in the past with no problems) and he keeps getting error message:
Fatal Exec Engine Error (0x7926fcd8)
When he hits OK
he gets something like:
Application beverated an exception that couldn't be handled
process id= 0x394(916), thread id= 0x650(1616)

cordbg.exe!2 0x394
when cancelling (I think) that this message appears:

IEXPLORER.EXE -No debugger found.
Registered JIT debugger is not available. An attempt... yada yada yada. (if you need the rest I can type it all out)

He gets nowhere trying to fix it. So far it hasn't caused any computer function problems except on that test and it's bugging him. Any advice?
TIA

EDIT:
Forgot to mention he has Win XP, IE 6.0
