Reformat

Can XP Home install itself on a HD with info on it....without losing any of the info..

I would think the only way that would work is to do an Upgrade. Speaking from experience, the upgrade doesn't work very well.

dose the drive have an op sys ie win98 or just folders and files ?

Just Files and Folders was a slave drive on another computer that ran Win98
