Display-setting at start up is changed
HI,
having installed XP home edition on my PC, I have only 1 problem: at start up the display settings are always changed. I have to play around with the buttons to center the screen, height and width are also changed. When this is happening, I can also reboot, and after 1 or 2 times, it starts normal again. My PC is a Packard Bell, and Monitor is a Fujitsi, all from 1998. Video Card is Voodoo 2000 PCI 3dfx. Yes I know, not so young and fresh anymore, but they work. And XP looks and works prfect and much better then windows 98. Except for the display of course. Any tips ?? |

After reinstalling a new operating system you have to set the screen with the monitor buttons on the monitor.
