using xp home edition on me new amd xp 1800 with asus a7n8x mb and a geforce vid card went to nvidia site and dowloaded the newest drivers for video card and when installing them xp says they dont pass the logo test and to install them may cause the world to implode, so i put them in anyway seems to work fine, so whats the deal with the logo test thing that the newest drivers i can find cant pass?

yes dont worry about that. Basiclly that is saying that microsoft has not tested your hardware that your installing to be compatible with XP..
it mostlikly is compatible but microsoft did not take the time to test it so it gives you that warning |

its not a test of the hardwair but a test of the driver all drivers for xp are tested and then approved.you can install an untested driver but windows will be very strict with the driver and if it causes a prob will deactivate it. it best to install this driver
Version: 40.72 Release Date: November 8, 2002 WHQL Certified from this link till the new driver is certifed http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=winxp-2k_archive
