2000 SBS server

I have been running SBS 2000 for some time and can't figure out why I have been running out of memory. Here is my config:

PIV 2.4B
512 PC-2100
On an Intel 845GEB MB

This more than meets sys requirements.

In the SBS Administrator Console it shows as having only 20% free memory(104mb). I am only running a TEMP monitor, RAID monitor, and SQL server. Does SQL take up that much memory when idle with no records?

As I work on it and browse the internet it slowly decreases to where I get errors.

Any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!!!!

sql server by default will use up to certain percentage of all available memory unless you specifically limit the amount you allow it.

I did what the Great One suggested and that seems to fix it.

Thanks!
