win98 space

How much space is needed to run windows 98?

I think 1 to 1.5 GB is more than enough.

i believe most people like to leave a minimum of 5 gigs.im sure others will give there opinion.

Just for Windows.

The other programs are another matter. I have MS Office 97, and several programs and my Program Files folder is 3 GB big!

BTW, my Windows folder is over 500 MB.

I have a old HD thats 1624.6MB. All I need is the OS just to get on line with.
