Buying Win 2K ???

Found what I think is an OEM version of Win 2K at a site called #9 software for $72

Windows 2000 Professional

Full Version, OEM.Includes CD, key code, license on CD. NO Manual,NO COA.
In Stock! ** Wow! Special Price!

How can they sell it with out a COA?

I dont think it matters on OEM.It is just a sticker anyway as long as you have the key code and lic you are good to go...

Hi Zaney, it looks like a complete OEM product. I just thought all M$ software came with a COA. I dont want to get burned with an illegal copy. The cost is about half of what NewEgg is selling it for.

The COA is what proves your license is valid. Even though you are buying it in good faith, I would still insist upon a COA unless M$ themselves would provide one.

I noticed that down the page they have the same software with the COA for $142. I would like to have a copy of 2000 but I am still scared of getting ripped off.

Hi Fuse, I was thinking that the product key was always on the COA. This one comes with a key code. I would really hate to get it and find out I cant download updates or something like that.
