Question network messages

can anyone tell me how to broadcast messages to all users on my win2k network. They used to do this at my last job, the users would get a popup dialog box with a message from the IT department with an okay option (you clicked okay and it would go away).

You need to start the Messenger Service in services.

Oops, that is the Alerter Service not the Messenger.

Wigs, that's the net send command... can't remember the exact syntax, but you should be able to type net send /? and get the command and all syntax options.
