Msgsrv32 not responding

Hi;

I hope everyone likes answering what appear to you as simple questions, because I have a few that I am going to go through one at a time.
Most of my programs boot up without a problem, however one in particular won't boot, and when I do the (cont+alt+del) thing I see "Msgrsv32 not responding," plus, in the list is the Ps6, (for Print Shop 6) which is suposed to be bringing the program up. I have uninstalled Print Shop, and in trying to re-install I have failed.

You may need to do a couple of things.
First, go to Start > Run and type in: msconfig
Go to the startup tab, and take the tick mark OUT of PS6.
Restart, and that may cure it.

newme;

Yes. In that I get that message when I try to re-install ps6. If I place the disc in the cdrom and then start,E:,start, I get the contents on my screen. If I try to use the install, I get the msgsrv32 not responding. If I go to the add and remove programs nothing happens, except the screen reverts immediately back to the control panel (cont+alt+del) gets Isset_se as a new hapening. No notations. Everything fine I guess. But nothing happening. I took it to another computer and was able to install, however the cd rom drive hasn't worked since. Lucky me.

Hi;

Great site. Added it to my favourites. I will probably spend a lot of time here.
