I have an XP machine, and it's not saving my password after logging on. Presently I have it logged on only to the local box, though I access the LAN at home. I use DSL so I don't 'dial'out.
reconfigure mail support did nothing for it. I know there was probably a setting I inadvertently changed that caused the issue. Anyone know what that would be? |

Not sure about the reg setting but open Outlook\tools\accounts\properties\servers\. Check the box,"remember password" under Incoming Mail Server.
Should work. |

More to the point, The username is always kept, and the password is always blank, even if the password was just put in and saved.
