Exclamation Anyone know the reg key to reset password saving in outlook/outlook express?

I have an XP machine, and it's not saving my password after logging on. Presently I have it logged on only to the local box, though I access the LAN at home. I use DSL so I don't 'dial'out.

reconfigure mail support did nothing for it. I know there was probably a setting I inadvertently changed that caused the issue. Anyone know what that would be?

Not sure about the reg setting but open Outlook\tools\accounts\properties\servers\. Check the box,"remember password" under Incoming Mail Server.

Should work.

More to the point, The username is always kept, and the password is always blank, even if the password was just put in and saved.
