Will XP upgrade be NTFS?
Hey everyone.
I'm going to buy XP soon and I was wondering if I buy the upgrade, will the file system still be NTFS? I'll be upgrading from 98. Thanks. |

You will have the choice to upgrade to NTFS or leave it as FAT32. If you leave it as FAT32, you can very easily convert to NTFS later on.

the NTFS switch is way easier than I thought it was, my friend did it on his laptop, as it came already installed he didnt have a choice, took about 20 minutes to convert.
