Unhappy Custom Folder Icons in Win2k (SP2)

Now that folder clutter is starting to happen, I decide to go with some custom icons for some of my folders to aid in navigation.

Having a problem though. No matter whether I do by hand (using desktop.ini file and the attrib command in the Run menu) or having it done for me by a downloaded utility, I get the same thing: all the icons look like the first one I did, even through refreshes and reboots.

All the filepaths/icons whatever check out fine.

Anybody got any ideas?

'cause I'm stumped...
