disabling XP's own burn software

HI Guys,
I would like to know how am I to disable XP's own CD-burn function.

I am using Nero InCD and after I have prepared the CD-RW, when I drag and drop into the drive to burn, XP takes over and send the items to temporary area first b4 burning. This way I will never be able to use as a really hugefloppy disc.

Help!!
Thx

1. Open Control Panel
2. Administrative Tools
3. Services
4. Look for "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service" under name (I suggest clicking on the "Name" bar to organize it in chronological order first)
5. Right click, go to Properties
6. In the "Startup Type:", select Disabled
7. Apply and close, no need for reboot, close Nero if needed, and reopen. You should see a difference in the time Nero loads from start to finish compare to how long before this tweak.

You can click on Start > My computer > right click on the drive > properties > recording. Uncheck "Enable CD recording on this drive.

If you feel comfortable in the registry,

Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer Value Name: NoCDBurning Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value) Value Data: (0 = Allow CDR, 1 = Disable CDR) Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called 'NoCDBurning' and edit the value according to the settings above.

I was under the impression that you do not install the moboard drivers with xp, as the drivers are built into xp
