How can I get rid of windows login password?

Go into your network properties and change the login from Client for Microsoft Networks to Windows Logon. Reboot the machine, if prompted for a password, leave it blank.

Remember to type a desirable Username (this will appear in the Start --> Log Off )

Then leave the password blank, and remember to press ENTER not ESC (Pressing ESC I believe will bring back the dialog every time until you press ENTER)
