adaptec cd burner not working..NEED HELP
I have an artex computer. It came with the Adaptec Create Cd 4. I go to make an audio cd and i get a message saying the initialization has failed (could not load cdr4). It is now a common occurance. If anyone knows what to do , please tell me.

What OS do you have? Can you read CDs in your burner drive? How many CD drives do you have? Do you have any idea what brand/speed your burner is? You can check in Control Panels..System..Hardware..Device Manager and under DVD/CD-ROM drives.
