I have Windows Xp. I had this problem where I cant open any folders on my desktop, or start menu. I get a message saying "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" I've restarted many times and reinstalled xp. I need some intelligent advice....dont tell me to just reformat. I have an artex computer.....im the one with the burner problem..i just downloaded musicmatch plus. I need the help a lot..its driving me crazy

I'm not sure if this will help but here it goes..........
check to see what programs are starting up at first boot maybe theres a conflict problem there making Explorer act they way it does The prgram I use is Startup control 2.8 Panel my Mike Lin located here I find it easier the msconfig http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml Just make sure you know what your unchecking when removeing programs at startup hope this helps |
