I'm not sure if I put this post in the right forum but here it go's
I got a laptop Windows XP home Compaq Presario 700 20 HD 128 mb ram I'd like to get more ram but no $$$ right now so I was trying out this ram freeing program called "Ram Booster" it seems to work good it does improve speed but I was wondering is there one better out there ?? I've seen dozens and dozens of these programs around but noticed "Ram Booster" seems most popular So basically I just need to know if I got a good program or is there a better ram freeing (Freeware)program out there until I get more ram

Since your short of money and the Ram Booster program made a difference then i'd stick to that program. Other programs may cause other problems as screw up your computer and then you may have to re-format.

I haven't ever seen any of them that work. About all they seem to do is lessen the amount of RAM you have available for computer to use plus they increase the load on your system just by the fact they are memory resident.
