I installed Me and my settings in display in control panel are at 640x480 with no option to change it. The picture is very bad at this resolution. The video card was fine with 98. It is a Diamond Supra A55. Is this card not right for Me or what? Thanks

There should be a slider adjustment for these setting under display propeties>settings lower right hand corner of the panel, more or less. Also might check to see if there is an update driver for your video card.

It sounds like you are on the video drivers that come with windows. You could try by removing these, and then re-installing your drivers for the Supra A55.

You have to define a monitor - something other than "default monitor" or "unknown monitor".

glc has a point there. A "Default monitor" installed gives you that low resolution

Cool

Okay, I reccomend using the "Plug And Play Monitor" if you don't have any selected or your sepcific one isn't available. I also reccomend setting the drivers for your video card back to pre-ME. All you have to do is got to sys prop, device manager, highlight the graphics card, properties, update driver, show all compatable hard ware, and find it on the list.
