I just restarted my computer and when i went to log on, it gives me this error message: "Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted. Please contact your administrator.". It then proceeds to give me a temporary profile to log on with. My data is still in the Documents and Settings folder, but for some reason, it wont let me log on under Computer Adminstrator to copy the files to a new profile. The Computer Administrator profile is not even there. I tried burning all the files and copying them to a new profile but it wont let me copy them, saying of course; access denied. What can i do????? I have so much stuff on there that I need. I tried what it said in M$ knowledge base, but to no avail. PLEASE someone help.
thanks ^dan |

Hello GSXDAN,
Many things could have caused the Profile to be currupted. Viruses, Trojans, Viruses, etc. Installing administrative software can sometimes alter the profile. |
