CDR and Win2K
Installed a TDK Cyclone CDR into a Win2K box as slave to primary CD drive, having first installed Nero 6 - result, box refused to see HD, or any drive other than A: (Floppy).
Unistalled Nero 6, box now sees all drives. Reinstalled Nero - disappearing drives again. Checking voa Windows "System" utility indicated a "problem" with the application. Conclusion: software conflict. Then tried Roxio CD-writing software with VERY limited success (at least we can see all the drives and burn by drag and drop in the Explorer interface) but full CD compilation / copying function is still not available. Anyone out there got any other ideas? We can of course go on trying different copying SW till we find something that works, but we're pretty sure someone out there will have a better idea! |
